When I was begining my own adventure with Arduino I was afraid that most of my time will be used by soldering. I had not much experience with soldering, and I was not planning to spend much time working with Arduino. Fortunatley I have discovered solderless breadboards.
Solderless breadboard is a solution allowing for fast circut assemble and rapid prototyping. No soldering, just placing elements in holes and connecting needed parts with jumper wires. Read more about breadboards on Wikipedia.
